In my painting I express myself through the power of gesture; brushstrokes filled with emotion move you and transport you into my world, where dark colours prevail and tell my story.
The strong, black, repeated, overlapping mark evokes an excavation; by cutting into the surface, it carves out the bodies, separating them from their two-dimensional condition and bringing them back into the world.
Black
The primary use of black does not distract you, does not allow you to lose yourself in other interpretations; it is a silent scream accompanied by small drops of colour that overlap and thicken on the surface of the canvas, covering all that darkness with a luminous dust.
