Giulia Zumpano.

Born in Novara in February 1993. She graduated in New Technologies of Art from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera in Milan. During this period she cultivated her passion for documentary cinema and created “Persone”, “FR 8411” and “Essential Wastes”.
From 2016 to 2018 she attended the Film Arts programme at Accademia RUFA – Rome University of Fine Art, where she made the short film “La memoria è rossa e profuma di gardenie”, selected by several festivals across Europe, and the documentary “Dialoghi da dietro le quinte”, winner of the Patologico award at the Festival Internazionale del Cinema Patologico, an extract of which she presented on the programme “Save the Date” on Rai3.
Immediately after completing her university studies, she pursued a career in video post-production at the advertising agency Superhumans, where she took part in several major projects, including the campaign video for EBRI – Rita Levi Montalcini, which received the highest accolades at both the Italian and European ADC Awards.
