They call me Sonja Felix, born on 5 April 1989. Born young and happy. Just like now. I have always communicated more through images than words. Thus, a First-Level Academic Diploma in Graphic Design from the Accademia di Belle Arti di Bologna and a Master’s Degree in Visual and Innovation Design from the Rome University of Fine Arts in Rome transformed my natural inclination into a profession. I had the opportunity to create video installations for TEDexTiburtino, Stefan Sagmeister, Karim Rashid and architect Francis Kéré. Over the years I have gained experience in different companies that have allowed me to range from motion graphics to corporate identity, giving me a complex and varied background. I am a multimedia communicator, aware that my job consists in finding the way, unknown to others, to tell their stories. So I constantly observe, listen, ask and learn. I am the work in progress of myself and always have been.
Once upon a fly. Identità e comunicazione di una compagnia aerea per famiglie e bambini
Sonja Felix’s project consists in creating the creative identity and communication of an airline specialising in the transport of families and children, capable of meeting all the needs of young passengers while keeping parents calm and satisfied. Since it remains impossible to arbitrarily decide to get on or off the plane at will, it seemed appropriate to design a service capable of addressing all possible passenger needs, facilitating their journey and increasing their sense of tranquillity.
Alongside this concept is a communication need: to convey the airline’s image through conventional marketing combined with unconventional marketing, enabling customers not to feel merely like customers of a service, but rather the protagonists and active participants in the company, on a par with a partner of the company itself.
