Siria Cotugno was born in Rome on 30 September 1996 on an ordinary day, but not just any day. Her passion and desire to create led her to explore a wide range of different realities connected to the world of art and to the places where this feeling is most intensely concentrated. From schools, to universities, to cities, to the most hidden and the most visible places, from the earth that dirties your shoes to the white marble that makes you squint, but above all to an increasingly relentless search to convey her own emotions and the gaze of those who live to discover, know and love. From her first childhood drawings, through the world of graphic design and finally into the magical world of 3D, Siria, as well as never abandoning that pure feeling of being able to see poetry in everything,
also found time to graduate in 2019 from the three-year Graphic Design programme, and in 2021 from the specialisation in Computer Animation and Special Effect at R.U.F.A. In 2021 she obtained a master’s degree in “Texturing Modeling and Look Dev” with Genealogic FX, an academy in London. She currently works in a 3D studio in Den Haag in the Netherlands, cycling every morning towards who knows what future destination.
Movimento tekno: immagini, testi, trasformazioni
Telling the story of the Tekno movement through an archive of texts and images, making available a series of scattered and often difficult-to-find materials, “assembled” here according to a precise editorial project. The technique used stems from the application of tools and knowledge acquired during the study of Graphic design. The work is divided into self-contained chapters, according to their content and communicative expressions.
Different formats have been used in order to allow users themselves the freedom to begin the “reading” from any chapter and, at the same time, to facilitate connections or further exploration of the subject from different angles, perspectives and sensations.
