Paola Centamore was born in spring in Sicily. She studied Graphic Design at the Accademia di Belle Arti di Catania and later specialised in Visual and Innovation design at Rufa. She lives and works in Parma as an Art Director and Digital Designer. She works in communication, in the best sense of the word. She builds usable brands and services that can make people’s experiences unique. Analysis, understanding and reorganisation form the basis of her approach as a designer. Good people, food and laughter are the things that make her happy.

Paola’s project is not only a thesis in communication and visual design, but a journey that represents herself, her land, Sicily, her origins and her desire to introduce people to and let them taste the products that have always been part of her traditions.
The student is deeply connected to her roots and has found an evocative way to communicate this. The first part of the thesis explains how traditions in Sicily originated and what a Food Truck is. The second part, on the other hand, explains the communication strategies implemented: from the idea to the project, with all its stages, from Brand Identity through to social media communication.
