I am Andrea Canterini, born in Marino, Lazio, in August ’82. Since childhood I have always created and built things; I have always been passionate about music and theatre, recreating stage sets and using ants and insects as actors. Sometimes life choices force you to set your passions aside for a while, but my interest has always remained alive. Throughout my journey I have always tried to discover new forms of art, also developing a passion for music, though always from behind the scenes, as an audio technician and lighting technician. Therefore, after a couple of experiences abroad, I decided to return to Italy and bring my passions together, trying to merge old and new and introduce younger generations to works from the past through new VR and 3d technologies.
Die zauberflöte – Immersive and interactive theatre
Attending Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” in the “Sacro Bosco” of Bomarzo. The idea stems from the shared nature of these two masterpieces: one revolves around characters who appear ordinary but are in fact mysterious and unattainable, while the other consists of a magical park in the heart of Tuscia that awakens surprising sensations and extraordinary emotions in visitors. The project is based on an immersive technique that leads participants to fully identify with the experience.
The spectator will no longer be simply passive, but rather completely immersed in the story. The aim is to provide participants with a sensory experience lived in the first person.
