The observation and analysis of human behaviour and of the interaction between human beings and the external world constitute the origin and genesis of my artistic research. What strikes me most is the uniqueness and diversity of each individual, particularly the way in which they react to intense emotional states, such as trauma, loss and psychological disorders. Physical effort is an intrinsic element of all my projects: I perceive it as something fulfilling and validating, the final result of a challenge with myself that, once completed, finally allows me to find rest.

Another fundamental aspect of my approach is sustainability. My intention is to reassess the reciprocal relationships between human and non-human forms of life and the physical environments they share. An “ecocentric” vision that aims to counter the anthropocentric model, which privileges human beings at the expense of nature. The idea of the transience of human existence is accompanied by an almost sacred respect for the natural world and drives me to attempt to develop an impossible dialogue with it.
