Born in Rome during a winter in the ’90s, Emanuele Ricci arrived at RUFA, where he obtained his diploma in graphic design. His passion for video games and cinema led him to experiment with 3d and animation, so much so that after completing the three-year programme, together with some of his classmates, he plunged without hesitation into the newly established Master’s Degree Programme in “animation and special effects”. During the two-year programme, he took part in the Rufa contest and the international week, experimenting with different styles and techniques until returning to the essence of storytelling explored in his thesis “the warden”. After putting his skills to the test with an internship at Chromatica, he decided to try working abroad as well and, thanks to the Erasmus+ programme, landed in Warsaw, where he had the opportunity to work at Animoon, an award-winning studio specialising in children’s content. Returning to the capital, Emanuele entered the world of gaming by joining Storm in a teacup, one of the leading softwarehouses in Italy.
