My name is Francesca Romana Rossi, known artistically as “Romana”, and I am a Designer. Driven by a love of art since childhood, I learned to distinguish and nurture two different sides of myself: the designer who operates within a rational dimension and the illustrator who disrupts creative rules, creating a more instinctive form of art. I work as a UI/UX & Brand Designer in Belgium and Italy, I am the Art Director of Flywallet and I manage my illustrator profile @romanadesignart on Instagram. I talk about love and life through abstraction, where the distinctive feature of each work is that thread connecting our vital organs or our senses, a magnetic thread that attaches itself to feelings and creates enchanting harmonies. I draw inspiration from the places I visit and those where I live, from stations and from wine.
Nomo. Wearable payment system
This thesis presents the visual identity elements and marketing strategies for Nomo, a company dedicated to creating new electronic payment systems aimed at improving the consumer experience. A smart project, within the context of smart cities, operating in the smart economy, an economy made up of people who think and work to generate new ideas and increase productivity and competitiveness. Innovation in processes and production systems has always been a fundamental pillar of the smart economy.
The aim of the research is therefore to make an everyday operation as common yet complex as payment simpler and more enjoyable.
