My artistic research is fundamentally focused on the distinction and personal conflict between “Imagination” (the interpretation of reality through details of my lived memories, especially architectural and urban ones) and “Fantasy” (the interpretation of elements that are purely the product of one’s own mind), through the use of “finds”, artefacts, diaries filled with notes and sketches from studies of unknown creatures of various kinds originating from a city far from the terrestrial world called “Nuova Atlantide”.
