Hi! Between 2017 and 2019 I attended the Visual and Innovation Design programme at RUFA, after completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design at Sapienza University. My projects span the various fields of design: from branding to motion graphics, from product design to user experience. At RUFA and during my Erasmus period at the Universidade de Belas Artes in Lisbon, I had the opportunity to experiment with various design methodologies that later proved useful in my professional work, both in my experiences as a visual designer, such as last year’s internship at BVLGARI in Rome or at Shaz Enterprise in Barcelona, and in projects not strictly related to design, such as my current role as Costume Assistant on a film set. Although my career path has been, and continues to be, highly varied, creativity and design are always at the centre of my future perspective.
Smart Space
How can the design of spaces be encouraged by interpreting people’s needs? This is the aim of a thesis based on the assumption that the space in which we live has always been the foundation for the expression of our cultural values. It can be a tool for collaboration and innovation – increasing interpersonal relationships – or a barrier that hinders the flow of information. If the way in which we design spaces influences how we act and feel, and if each of our lives can hardly be separated from the environments in which we live,
their quality cannot be defined solely on the basis of their degree of functionality, but must also take into consideration the psychology and well-being of those who use them.
