Naomi Kikuchi.

Naomi Kikuchi was born and raised in Umbria, before moving to Rome to attend RUFA (Rome University of Fine Arts), where she studied Cinema. During the three-year programme she made three short films: “Senza tempo”; “Usemophobia (la vera storia della prima vittima del regresso tecnologico)” and “Obaachan”, a documentary presented as her graduation thesis. During her second year, she completed an internship as an assistant editor for the TV series “Come quando fuori piove” (directed by Fabio Mollo). In 2019 she collaborated as an assistant editor at Maestro production on the TV series “New School”. After making the documentary “Obaachan”, she became interested in the world of documentary filmmaking and decided to enrol at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Palermo, specialising in Documentary Directing, where she is still studying.
