Sacha Turchi

Sacha Turchi. Visual Artist. Born in Rome in 1988. The themes she explores are connected to human beings and their evolution within the social, cultural and personal spheres. Her projects are enriched by dialogue with Scientists, Doctors and Psychologists. Throughout her career she has exhibited in numerous galleries in Italy and abroad, and her work has been featured in many specialised art publications. Her conceptual investigation runs parallel to material research involving bio-materials of her own invention, which have become central to all of her Works. She explores themes related to the body, from both a chemical and motor perspective, which becomes a metaphor and a key symbol of her stylistic language. From the very beginning, her conceptual investigation has focused primarily on the female figure, from the concept of generational transmission to women’s cultural and family development. In recent years she has devoted herself to writing, through which the themes of her research and the key points of her investigation emerge.
