Valeria Caceres

I represent air, which is movement, freedom, and gives the sensation of flowing; wind in Greek is anemo, from which the word anima derives. I seek the essence of things through gesture and the use of colour, working on compositions that awaken and explore the individuality of the mark, and the possibilities offered by lines. I create a space that evokes delicacy and makes the viewer feel suspended. A space that touches lightly, in which to find truth, kindness and sensitivity. I consider painting a poetic act that derives from a meditative action, which means that from this an access to my emotional self is created, becoming an inner journey and flight.
