RUFA for the Centenary of the INCIS District of Piazza Verbano

RUFA hosts the presentation of the program for the Centenary of the INCIS District of Piazza Verbano

On March 6 and 13, 2026, RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts hosted two meetings at its campus located at via Taro 2, in the Trieste district, dedicated to presenting the program of initiatives for the Centenary of the INCIS District of Piazza Verbano.

The INCIS district of Piazza Verbano celebrates in 2026 one hundred years since its foundation, an important milestone that will be marked by a calendar of cultural, historical, and musical initiatives designed to highlight the identity, memory, and heritage of one of the most significant areas of Rome’s Municipio II.

The celebration program was officially presented on February 28, 2026, at the hall in Via Tagliamento 4, made available by the Rector of the Church of Santa Maria Addolorata, Don Fernando Reyes, who welcomed the participants. Also present at the event was Francesca Del Bello, President of Municipio II, representing the Mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri.

The initiatives will take place from March to May 2026 and will involve residents, institutions, and local associations through a rich program of events dedicated to the history, architecture, urban planning, and cultural life of the district.

By hosting the meetings on March 6 and 13, RUFA actively contributed to promoting the Centenary initiatives, strengthening the dialogue with the local community and the surrounding area.

An anniversary that represents an opportunity to celebrate the memory of the past while looking toward the future, enhancing the historical and cultural heritage of the district.
