An event that pays tribute to the Fellini universe, reinterpreted through the creativity of students from Accademia Italiana, and enriched by the screening of short films created by RUFA students. The initiative is part of the “Grand Tour AFAM” project, supported by Next Generation EU and coordinated by RUFA.
Fashion, photography, jewelry, music, performance, and cinema: on July 4, at the Boscolo Hotel Circo Massimo, a special evening in which the higher education institute celebrates the timeless poetics of Maestro Federico Fellini.
During the event, the short films Ico by Sabrina La Macchia (documentary) and Quattro e un quarto by Laura Ettori (animation), created by RUFA graduates from the Cinema course, will also be screened. Raffaele Simongini, RUFA lecturer and renowned expert on Fellini’s work, will serve as Artistic Director of the evening.

The event is the result of a formative and creative journey that involved the young talents of Accademia Italiana – from both the Florence and Rome campuses – in a series of masterclasses dedicated to Fellini’s cinema and its influence on Made in Italy and the collective imagination.
The Fellini universe, with its visionary and dreamlike strength, continues to inspire entire generations of creatives, encouraging new forms of storytelling and artistic experimentation.
On display are 15 selected projects including garments, sketches, photographs, jewelry, and short films, created by students from the Fashion Design, Jewelry Design, Photography, and Visual Arts courses. A collective narrative that explores the feminine universe, dreams, and Fellini’s Rome, transforming them into creative matter. The result is a visual and performative story that looks to the future while rooted in the legacy of the past. A unique opportunity where the sensitivity and language of the new generations engage in direct dialogue with one of cinema’s greatest masters, building a bridge between memory and present, poetic vision and design research.
Adding to the evocative atmosphere are the performances by jugglers and acrobats from the Compagnia Materiaviva and the theatrical contribution of actress Roberta Caronia, playing the role of Fellini’s Giulietta. The soundtrack of the evening is curated by students from the Saint Louis College of Music, one of the partners of the “Grand Tour AFAM” project.
The event will also feature the presentation of the official publication FellinIAna: Roma, le donne e il sogno, published by Gangemi Editore and curated by project coordinators Ilenia Alesse, Chiara Ruberti, and Simone Fattori. The volume collects images of the awarded works along with short essays by the speakers involved in the masterclasses.
