RUFA inaugurates the academic year with the first Talk of the season, dedicated to the presentation of the volume Slippages: Photographs by Linda Cummings (Skira, 2025).
The event will feature the American artist Linda Cummings, author of the project, together with Edoardo Ghizzoni (Head of Business, Skira), Marta Jovanović (artist and RUFA lecturer), and Kathy Battista, curator, author, and RUFA lecturer.
The talk will offer students and attendees the opportunity to explore the editorial process behind the publication of an artist’s monograph: from the collection and documentation of past works to the writing of critical texts, as well as aspects related to funding, promotion, and distribution.
Participants will be able to engage directly with professionals from the field and gain insight into the real dynamics of editorial production in contemporary art.
