RUFA is thrilled to announce our collaboration with the Yale Center for Collaborative Arts and Media (CCAM) as part of CCAM Fest: Fluxus, the 2026 edition of CCAM’s annual interdisciplinary arts festival! This year, the Fest responds to Fluxus and its expansive range of people, practices, and ways of experiencing art.
As part of its three-day, interdisciplinary program, CCAM Fest will present an evening of live performance art created by RUFA and Yale/New Haven artists. The event will take place on Thursday, February 26 from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the CCAM Leeds Studio at 149 York Street. Several RUFA artists will also present works as part of the program of Happenings taking place at CCAM and around Yale’s campus and New Haven as part of the Fest.
In the Thursday evening event, the RUFA artists are Julia Navarro de Vasconcelos, Bianca Poláková, and Kateryna Sopielkina. Raquel Nache Lopez, Heather Susanna Roach, Yarden Sason, and Ada Uygan will present their work as Happenings.
The RUFA performances are curated by Yale’s Elise Morrison (Assistant Professor, Theater, Dance, and Performance Studies) and Marta Jovanović, Professor and Head of Visual Arts at RUFA. The artists from Yale and New Haven include: Tusia Dąbrowska and Montana Simone, Fabiola Andújar, and Marian Del Valle; Joy Li; and Francisco Morandi Zerpa; whose work is curated by Lauren Dubowski, Assistant Director of CCAM.
Together, the artists represent around ten countries and involving practices from sculpture, painting, projection design, sound, writing, and other disciplines, building an international and interdisciplinary dialogue. The performances are new and original works by the artists, incorporating dramaturgies informed by Fluxus instructions, event scores, and other live performance practices toward the development of new possibilities for live art.
