Blood Donation Day at RUFA: April 16 at Via Libetta Campus
RUFA – in collaboration with AVIS Roma – is pleased to announce a morning dedicated to blood donation, which will take place on Thursday, April 16 at the Via Libetta Campus.
An opportunity for our community to take part in a simple yet meaningful gesture, capable of making a real difference in the lives of many people.

Why participate
Donating blood is an act of civic responsibility that supports the healthcare system and represents essential help for those undergoing treatments and emergency procedures. As a community, RUFA has the opportunity to demonstrate that its impact goes beyond the classroom, promoting a culture of care, solidarity, and shared responsibility.
What donors will receive
In addition to the ethical value of the initiative, participants will benefit from: 1) Full blood tests, with results uploaded to the Lazio Region Health Record 2) Breakfast offered after donation 3) Absence justification: – Students: absences from morning classes will be considered justified – Staff: the possibility to be absent from work for the necessary time without requesting leave
Useful information
The donation takes approximately 8 minutes. It is possible to have a light breakfast before the donation, following these guidelines: Allowed: tea, coffee, fruit juices, dry biscuits (with jam or honey) To avoid: milk and dairy products (yogurt, butter, etc.) and fatty foods
