Federico Landini

Born in Livorno, Federico Landini studied Piano and Composition at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome, along with jazz and improvisation; at an early age he started composing the music score for theatrical performances, collaborating with various directors, such as Antonio Calenda, Maurizio Casagrande, Claudia Poggiani, Alberto Bassetti. His career as music composer and sound designer continued with over 300 advertising campaigns: Adidas, LiuJo, AGIP, ENI, McDonalds, Ferrero, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Sony, Telecom, BLU, ENEL, Diadora, Honda, Jaguar, Morellato, BNL, Banca Intesa, Armani, Bulgari, Pepsi.
He has written the music scores for numerous films: “Una donna X la vita / A Woman for Life” (Maurizio Casagrande, Neri Marcorè), “Smile” (an Italian-US co-production), “Lista Civica di Provocazione”, “Classe Mista” (by Federico Moccia); for the Rai fiction series “7 vite”, for several documentaries (Folco Quilici…) and TV programmes.
In 2002, he founded PARCOSUONI, a recording studio where he produces most of his music. Federico Landini is also very active as a music scout. In 2011, he created WASABI, a record label scouting for new talents from around the world. Dott Reed, a young international artist, was the first songwriter produced entirely by Wasabi.
