Marina Picari

Visual communication designer specialized in animation; she lives and works in Rome as an independent motion designer.
In 2018, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and later specialized in Computer Animation and Visual Effects at RUFA, with a thesis focused on the communicative potential of anti-mimetic animation and non-linear storytelling.
She works in motion graphics with a multidisciplinary and transmedia approach, combining digital and analog techniques in illustration, 3D modeling, and animation. She collaborates with various local studios and has developed projects for clients such as Sony Music Italy, Eagle Pictures, Poste Italiane, InsideArt, and has created animated stage designs for events like the Primo Maggio concert in Piazza San Giovanni and the National Export Conference for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Since January 2025, she has been a partner of Intorno Design, a cooperative of designers, educators, and PhD researchers. The collective designs visual communication systems for public institutions and private companies, with a focus on cultural projects.
