RUFA returns as a key player at ARF! Festival 2025: stand, live sketching, a masterclass by professor Mammucari, and special admission for students.
Once again this year, RUFA enthusiastically joins the ARF! Festival – the Comics Festival, scheduled from 23 to 25 May 2025 at the Mattatoio and the Città dell’Altra Economia, in the heart of the Testaccio district in Rome.
Now in its eleventh edition, ARF! is one of the most anticipated events on the Italian and international comic scene, featuring a rich programme of exhibitions, talks, concerts, masterclasses, portfolio reviews, artist alley, and a section entirely dedicated to self-publishing.
RUFA was present with a dedicated stand, brought to life by students from the Graphic Design and Comics and Illustration courses, who engaged in live sketching sessions and were available to share their creative and educational journey within the Academy.

Among the highlights of the 2025 edition are the free Masterclasses organised in collaboration with the main Italian schools and academies, including one led by our professor Emiliano Mammucari, illustrator, author, and a key figure in the contemporary comic book scene.
A valuable opportunity to explore RUFA’s outstanding teaching approach, open to all festival attendees with a daily ticket or festival pass.

❯ Reduced entry – from 3:00 PM on Friday and throughout Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 May
