RUFA hosts the first event in a series of meetings dedicated to combating gender-based violence, in collaboration with the team of GenərAct (Anti-violence and anti-discrimination social service of the II Municipality).
The initiative launches a programme of five meetings designed to promote awareness, tools, and shared practices within the academic community.
The first meeting, open to all students, is an introductory session aimed at presenting the GenərAct project, the services offered by the help desk, and the main actions carried out in the local area.
Through an approach that combines art, communication, and social engagement, the meeting aims to foster critical reflection on issues related to gender-based violence and discrimination, highlighting the role of culture as a driver of change.
The following four meetings, currently being scheduled, will instead take the form of workshops dedicated to RUFA faculty and staff.
RUFA’s participation in this initiative is part of a broader vision that places education at the core of building a more equitable and aware society. The initiative reflects the Academy’s commitment to promoting an educational model in which sustainability, inclusion, and innovation are key pillars of both the learning experience and academic life. This commitment is also expressed in the RUFA Sustainability Manifesto and in the active contribution to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), through concrete actions capable of generating a positive impact on both the academic community and society.
