RIFUGI – Group exhibition curated by Davide Lunerti and Marcello Smarrelli.
On Wednesday, 18 February 2026, Fondazione Pastificio Cerere presents Rifugi, the group exhibition marking the end of the residency of the RUFA artists who won the 6th edition of 6ARTISTA.
A project for young artists 2025–2026, this edition is carried out in partnership with RUFA, with the support of the Italian Ministry of Culture and SIAE as part of the Per Chi Crea programme.
Curated by Davide Lunerti and Marcello Smarrelli, the exhibition features the six winning artists, all RUFA graduates: Vanshika Agrawal, Emma Brunelli, Micol Gelsi, Davide Miceli, Giulia Romolo and Nadia Vallino. The exhibition will be open to the public from Thursday 19 February to Saturday 18 April 2026.
The sixth edition of the programme 6ARTISTA. Project for Young Artists 2025–2026, conceived in 2009 by Marcello Smarrelli for Fondazione Pastificio Cerere, offered six artists under 35, selected by a panel of experts, the opportunity to develop their research during a three-month residency at the Pastificio Cerere ateliers.
This edition’s programme culminates in the exhibition of the works by the winning artists, created during the residency with the constant support of the curatorial team. The title Rifugi reflects the idea of an artistic community that Fondazione Pastificio Cerere has long helped to foster; for this reason, many of the works produced during the residency revolve thematically around the concept of “refuge”: a place where what is threatened outside can instead take shape.

The exhibition opening – Wednesday 18 February at 6:00 pm – will be preceded at 5:00 pm by a conversation and guided tour with the winning artists, with the participation of the two curators.
