The collaborative relationship between RUFA and Videocittà has been enriched by a new and interesting experience.Coordinated by the lecturer Caterina Tomeo, the students of the Academy will take part in AGORÀ, scheduled for next December.
Agorà
AGORA is a format designed to create a connection between the territory and international professionals. The objective is twofold: on the one hand, to offer new business opportunities to operators (professionals and companies) operating in the audiovisual sector, and on the other hand, to initiate a dialogue between experts and professionals, thus generating added value.
“AGORÀ – explains Caterina Tomeo – is a virtual marketplace for meeting and professional growth, a programme through which to explore in depth the main sectors of communication and entertainment. It is an appointment for networking and comparison: an opportunity to enhance the skills, reputation and network of contacts of all those taking part in the event. AGORA is ready to welcome the creative industry, international talent and students”.
On 30 November from 12 noon to 2 pm in the Aula Magna, via Taro 14, the Agorà project will be presented. In December the following activities will be launched: a 45-minute masterclass held by a leading international figure who will meet the students of the Master of Arts program in Multimedia arts and design and a 45-minute meeting between the Art directors of important festivals such as “Sonar” and “Signal” and RUFA lecturers/professionals in order to select the most innovative project.
AGORÀ aims to be a work in constant evolution, a book to be written, a place where growth and comparison can be used as synonyms, as well as commitment and training.
