RUFA is once again on the side of contemporaneity, especially if this mission coincides with supporting art, in order to define its future canons. The Academy has decided to sponsor, in continuity with the recent past, Arte Laguna Prize, considered one of the most influential competitions in the world for emerging artists and designers, with the clear objective of showcasing and promoting creative talent.
With fourteen years of history, the Premio Arte Laguna offers the opportunity to join a wide and diversified network of collaborations, but above all to exhibit in the breathtaking location of the Arsenale di Venezia. Without forgetting the possibility of winning significant cash prizes.
Confirming the validity of the project, the medal of the President of the Italian Republic and the patronage conferred by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, the Ministry of the Environment and Protection of Land and Sea, the Veneto Region, the City of Venice and the Cà Foscari University of Venice.
The Award is open to all artists and designers, without limits of age, gender, nationality or other qualification. Each artist can participate by presenting a portfolio of unpublished or not unpublished works. The theme is free. Wide and diversified the range of techniques submitted to the jury’s evaluation: Painting, Sculpture and Installation, Photographic Art, Video Art and Short Films, Performance, Digital Art, Digital Graphics and Cartoon, Environmental Art, Urban Art and Street Art, Art Design.
The announcement of the competition provides for clear indications on measures and dimensions for each form of expression. To participate in the competition you must access the portal artelaguna.world and create your own reserved area, then follow the relevant instructions.
For the absolute winners three cash prizes of € 10,000 each. The works will be evaluated by the jury belonging to each field of competition, taking into account the characteristics of international contemporary art and the various artistic strands and according to qualitative, research and technical capacity criteria.
The jury reserves the right to evaluate all the material submitted. The results of the selections will be announced online at www.premioartelaguna.it. The absolute winners and all the prizes will be announced at the opening of the finalists’ exhibition.
