My work brings to the canvas scenarios that move between imagination and memory. The views I propose are conceived through a confluence, a stratification, of images generated by memory and by the material itself. I investigate a total and gestural painting that evokes and brings to light a tangle of tensions and necessary and chaotic sensations to produce and congeal “fractures”. Oscillating between the recognisable and the unknown, I emphasise the ambiguity of human identity confused in the relationship between the subjectivity of the unconscious and the external world.
