Michele Rech, known as Zerocalcare, is an Italian cartoonist. He created his first works just after high school, creating a comic book story of the G8 days in Genoa in 2001. He has collaborated with the newspaper «Liberazione» and with the magazines «Carta», «Repubblica XL» and «Internazionale». His first comic book was published in 2011, La profezia dell’armadillo, published first by Edizioni Graficart and then by Bao Publishing which will continue to publish the following books, such as Un polpo alla gola (2012), Ogni maledetto lunedì su due (2013), Dodici (2013), Dimentica il mio nome (2014), L’elenco telefonico degli accolli (2015), Kobane calling (2016).
