Francesca Romana Massaro

Journalist and screenwriter who graduated in Communication Sciences, she studied screenwriting with Heidrun Schleef and John Truby.
She wrote the book “Il cinema come nessuno ve l’ha mai raccontato”. Her second book “L’età d’oro. Il caso Véronique” inspired the film “L’età d’oro” by Emanuela Piovano, with Laura Morante, Stefano Fresi and Giselda Volodi, for which she wrote the screenplay.
Her third book “Cinematografia organizzata” is based on the FBI’s declassified archive, concerning the mafia’s infiltration into the film industry. She was press officer for the films “Dietro gli occhiali bianchi” by Valerio Ruiz with Lina Wertmüller; “Succede” by Francesca Mazzoleni; “Il primo Re” by Matteo Rovere with Alessandro Borghi.
She wrote the movies: “Rido perché ti amo” by Paolo Ruffini with Enzo Garinei, Nicola Nocella and Daphne Scoccia; “Useless mouths” directed by Claudio Uberti with Lorenza Indovina and Margot Sikabonyi; “Il viaggio di Dantino” tv animated series supervised by Enzo D’Alò.
