Luca Peralta

Luca Peralta is an engineer and architect that graduated with honors in Civil Construction Engineering from the University of Cagliari and was awarded a scholarship to study Architecture and Urban Planning at the Helsinki University of Technology in Finland, at the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands and at the DRL Design Research Laboratory of the ‘Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, where in 2000 he obtained the title MArchAA Master of Architecture and Urbanism.
He is a member of the Cagliari Order of Engineers and the London ARB Architects Registration Board.
He has collaborated and collaborates with important international design studios and important clients, among which Zaha Hadid Architects for the design of the Maxxi Museum of XXI Century Arts in Rome and the Betile Museum in Cagliari, with Massimiliano Fuksas Architect, with Norman Foster and Partners in London, with Kohn Petterson and Fox in London, with Giorgio Armani Retails in Milan, Prada Retails in Arezzo and others.
Since 2003 he has directed “Luca Peralta Studio design & consulting” based in Rome, a studio specialized in the design of fashion stores, complex public and private buildings, urban design and landscape architecture, focusing on experimentation, research and the application of eco-sustainable technologies.

He has won numerous design competitions and combines his professional activity with teaching and has taught the Urban Design course for students of Penn State University, Department of Landscape Architecture for 8 years.
