The exhibition was realised as part of RUFAlumni, a project that gives RUFA Alumni the opportunity to present their work to the public using the Academy’s spaces.
LA SCELTA is a project that stems from a reflection on the relationship between human beings and nature, and how this relationship is mediated by technology.
A projection of a vertical screen, extremely similar to the format of modern smartphones and taking place inside the profile of an open door, shows us a succession of images with a documentary flavour and amateur reportage, interrupted and corrupted by a series of digital errors: a rift within a simulation.
Through a representation of the continuous ‘gamification’ of the real, of the perception we have of it and of the social world closely connected to it, THE CHOICE wants to reason on how only a stance, or rather a conscience, can avoid the ‘Game Over’ of humanity.
