RUFA continues its 2025/2026 Talk series with a new event dedicated to the themes of conscious sexuality, consent, and the creation of inclusive spaces within the academic community. At the centre of the meeting, entitled “Le Sex en Rose – Consent and the pursuit of pleasure in everyday practice”, is a reflection on the transition from the digital dynamics of social media to the real-life dimension of relationships. The talk will be led by Le Sex en Rose, a project founded by Ivano Messinese and Morena Nerri, active in promoting a positive, inclusive, and conscious narrative of human sexuality.

The event is conceived as a moment of dialogue and in-depth exploration aimed at investigating the role of consent, respect, and listening in building healthy relationships, placing the pursuit of pleasure at the centre as a fundamental element of individual and collective well-being. Starting from the analysis of everyday practices, the talk will provide tools to understand how to create safe(r) spaces in which everyone can feel represented, acknowledged, and free to express their subjectivity while respecting individual boundaries.
Through an approach that combines sex and relationship education, digital culture, and relational practices, the talk will explore themes such as the meaning of inclusion and consent, the value of diversity as a resource, and the importance of adopting a broad and inclusive language capable of reflecting the plurality of experiences and identities.

Particular attention will be given to the academic context, with the aim of providing tools to recognise and promote behaviours based on mutual respect, contributing to the construction of a more equitable and aware community. A concrete example of a community built on these values will also be presented: the Ritrovarsi project, an experiential pathway focused on bodily and relational awareness.
Le Sex en Rose is a project founded in 2017 with the aim of promoting a vision of sexuality free from stereotypes, accessible and inclusive. Through editorial content, digital formats, and live interventions, the project has built a wide and active community, becoming a point of reference in the contemporary field of sex and relationship education.
Over the years, it has collaborated with national media and editorial platforms, developing projects that address the theme of pleasure and sexuality from an open and multidisciplinary perspective. Among these are the #millemodidi format, dedicated to representing female masturbation, and the Naked Interviews, interviews aimed at normalising the relationship with the body and overcoming communication barriers related to nudity.

The founders, Morena Nerri and Ivano Messinese, are also the creators of Piacere in scatola, a participatory and sensory installation that invites reflection on pleasure through an immersive experience. They have also published the book Sex Toys. Alla scoperta degli oggetti del piacere (Odoya) and created the podcast SexPod for Storytel, as well as taking part in public events and educational contexts, including TEDx Putignano.
Since 2022, they have organised the Ritrovarsi retreats, pathways dedicated to bodily and sexual awareness open to people of all genders and ages, and since 2024 they have been delivering sex and relationship education sessions in schools, contributing to the promotion of a culture based on respect, self-determination, and inclusion.

Registration for the talk will be available from Tuesday 21 April 2026.
