“Semi – Veri #2”: Sculptural Practices in the Making
An exhibition that aims to reveal the emergence of an artistic scene in formation. Featuring works by RUFA Sculpture students.

From July 1 to July 12, 2026, Prosa Contemporanea presents “Semi – Veri #2”, an exhibition curated by Davide Dormino and Gemma Gulisano, featuring third-year students from both the International and Italian Sculpture Programs of RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts.

The second edition of the exhibition series, conceived by artist and lecturer Davide Dormino, seeks to showcase the genesis of an emerging artistic scene.

The title refers to the concept of the seed: promises that begin to sprout and expectations that do not always reach the surface.

The exhibition unfolds through themes of potential, uncertainty, and questions surrounding the very nature of sculptural practice today. The works explore a range of subjects: materiality and time as they permeate artistic gestures, corporeality as a field of relationships between the individual and the collective, and the influence of digital contamination on artistic language.

Opening to the public on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, the exhibition will be hosted in the exhibition spaces of Prosa Contemporanea, Via Marin Sanudo 24, Rome, with an opening reception on Wednesday, July 1, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.

Artists on view: Alice Ferri, Alisa Mattia, Christina Maragkou, Claudia Taratufolo, Erendira Reyes, Jiawen Li, Kajus Lauciunas, Lucrezia Della Balda, Luka Skhirtladze, Owen McCullough, Parsa Foroutan, and Sunny Trujillo.
