In Suzzara (Mn) the contest “Arte in Arti e Mestieri”

The exhibition “Arte in Arti e Mestieri” (Art in Arts and Crafts) was born in 2001 and over time has been able to carve out a very important space between the festivals dedicated to the enhancement of contemporary expressionism. The contest, which last year saw the success of the student RUFA Camilla Gurgone, takes place in the picturesque city of Suzzara, in the province of Mantua, land of origin (and power) of the Gonzaga.

The exhibition, which began with about twenty artists, now has more than a hundred works. A circumstance that demonstrates the change in languages and tastes. Participation in the call is with a free theme. Artists of all nationalities can participate, regardless of their techniques and orientations, with a maximum of three works. Six sections host the various installations, three of which are open to competition. RUFA students, in particular, can compete in the category “Young Artists”, intended for students up to the age of 40.

Participants must send photos of their works electronically by 25 May 2019, using the email arte@cfpartiemestieri.it. The images of the works to be submitted to the competition must be accompanied by a completed and signed application form, which can be downloaded from the website www.cfpartiemestieri.it, as well as the artist’s curriculum vitae and the biographical card of a maximum of 600 characters. The committee, during the selection process, may modify the card and the curriculum vitae in order to draw up the catalogue. Only the photos sent in the following extensions will be taken into consideration: TIF, JPG or PDF.
