Make a short in 72 hours!

The cultural association “Le Bestevem”, which has been organizing for years the international competition “The 48 Hour Film Project Roma”, organizes the second edition of the contest for aspiring film makers under 30 “The 72nd Hour”, with the aim of making a short film in 72 hours.

The competition, realized within the framework of the “Estate Romana”, with the patronage of Roma Capitale, will take place in Rome from July 18 to 21 and is also open to those who have little or no experience in the field of cinema.

The winners will receive a voucher worth one thousand euros to spend on new technologies, as well as the right to participate in the next edition of “The 48 Hour Film Project Italia”.

Enrolments will close on July 10 and places are limited. The cost of registration for each team is 15 euros in total.

You can participate alone or organized in troupes: the goal is to write, shoot, edit a short film of 7 minutes in 72 hours that contains some mandatory elements, communicated to participants only after the departure of the official 72 hours of the competition. Participants will have the opportunity to shoot with any tool, even with a smartphone.

The short films submitted will be selected by a jury composed of recognized professionals and all will be screened in a real movie theater.
