The Fondazione Giulio Onesti – Accademia Olimpica Nazionale Italiana has published the call for entries for the fifth edition of “Run for art”, the international contest for young photographers that combines art and sport. Registration is free and open to photographers, professional or not, aged between 18 and 35 years of any nationality. Photos can be taken with any type of camera and smartphone. Entries are open until 31 August 2021.
The theme chosen is “The new five Olympic Sports. The contemporary challenge to ability and disability’. The aim is to focus on the evolution of the concept of sport for younger generations and the introduction of new sporting trends at the Tokyo Olympic Games (rock climbing, baseball/softball, karate, skateboarding, surfing). The theme also aims to explore the new convergences between the five Olympic sports and their Paralympic counterparts.
The 40 finalist shots, selected by an international jury of excellence, will be exhibited in museums and prestigious locations of international importance and, starting from this edition, will become part of the digital exhibition.
Information on the terms of participation can be found on the Runforart website. For any further information you can write to firstname.lastname@example.org, call +39 06 36857933/4 or consult the Instagram page @fondazionegiulioonesti.
