The book

Tongue on Flames celebrates New York’s poetic culture of the 1990s and 2000s, with a particular focus on poetry slam nights and the experimental energy of the Nuyorican Poets Café. The volume brings Pallotta’s images into dialogue with key voices from the scene, capturing the humour, rhythm, and sense of community of underground poetry. Edited by Michele Bertolino and published by NERO Editions.
