Organized within the framework of the project “GRAND TOUR AFAM”, CUP I83B24000030006, funded by the European Union Next Generation EU (NGEU) – for the internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in Art, Music and Dance (AFAM) under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 4 “Education and Research” – Component 1 “Enhancement of educational services: from nursery schools to universities” – Investment 3.4 “Advanced university teaching and skills”, sub-investment T5 “Strategic partnerships/initiatives to innovate the international dimension of the AFAM system”.
The Project
The project partners, coordinated by CNR ISPC and RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts, launch the first edition of the “The AFAM Roadshow” Hackathon.
The Hackathon represents the concluding event of a broader process of research and dialogue. The Roadshow travelled across Italy, exploring 7 key themes in 7 different cities, with the aim of building a network and an active community of lecturers, professionals, researchers, and students around the new frontiers of cultural innovation.
Purpose of the Call
This Open Call aims to select no. 2 students or alumni currently enrolled in or graduated from this Institution.
The selected candidates will become part of an international class of 30 talents from various disciplinary fields who will take part in an advanced training program and, subsequently, in the Hackathon to be held at the Castellare di Tonda estate (Montaione – FI) from April 27 to 30, 2026.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must:
The selection is open exclusively to students (regularly enrolled) or graduates of RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts.
Specifically, participation is reserved for: Students enrolled in second-level programs and graduates of first- and second-level programs.
Must not have already received contracts or financial compensation related to the GTA call.
Must demonstrate a strong interest in cultural heritage, technology, and multidisciplinary creativity.
NB. The selection is open to students from all programs, including international courses.
