Un bando del Mibac aperto agli studenti delle Accademie di Belle Arti pubbliche e private

A Mibac call for applications open to students of public and private academies of fine arts

The Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities has established the “AccadeMibac” award, promoted by the Directorate General for Contemporary Art and Architecture and Urban Suburbs. The initiative has been programmed with the sole purpose of supporting Italian artists under 28 coming from all the Academies of Fine Arts present on the national territory. This project has a double value: it recognizes the role played by the Academies, both public and private, in higher artistic education and also allows students to have equal opportunities.

“With the “AccadeMibac” award – explains Minister prof. Alberto Bonisoli – 10 talents will have the opportunity to participate in 2020 in the most important collateral exhibition of the 17th edition of the “Quadriennale d’Arte” and to receive funding of 10 thousand euros for the production of their work. The achievement of this goal will allow future protagonists of the national art – system to be selected for an artistic residence abroad, with a duration of 3 to 6 months.

The call is open to Italian Academies of Fine Arts – both state and legally recognized – which may submit up to a maximum of three applications each, selected from their students or graduates under 28. The Academies of Fine Arts may submit their applications until midnight on 29 July 2019 at the following address: quadriennalediroma@pec.it.
