Emma Brunelli

Class of: 2000
Nationality: Italiana | Italian
Degree course: Scultura | Sculpture

Born in Rome in 2000 where he obtained his International Scientific Diploma at Highlands Institute. He is currently studying sculpture at the RUFA – Rome University of Fine Arts.

My work is based on the need to eliminate the artificial barriers that man places as a limit between himself and the animal and plant world, bringing the observer back to an idealised primordial state, creating spaces of recollection and silence. The body becomes an expressive means of rediscovering intimacy and direct contact with nature. The continuous attempt to reach a deeper level of empathy leads me to re-elaborate mathematical principles and physical laws that regulate reality, often the starting point of my research.
