The artistic drawing course is intended for those who want to study the subject for the first time, but also for those who already have basic knowledge and want to acquire more skills. Students will be guided through exercises and learn the basics of drawing, which they will then develop through more complex techniques. In particular, the course will deal with the following aspects: basic shapes in drawing, understanding and reproducing shapes, how to manage the space on the white sheet, how to reproduce the proportions, understanding the most complex shapes, giving volume to the elements through chiaroscuro and mezzotint , basic notions of perspective, the subject within a space, anatomy, drawing the human figure from the draft to realistic drawing.

LIGHT/DARK AND HALFTONE
– Learn how to give volume to the drawing through chiaroscuro and halftone.
– Central perspective;
– Accidental perspective;
– Projection in the drawing.
– General notions of anatomy;
– The proportions of the human body;
– To reproduce the proportions of the human body by drawing from life;
– Learn to reproduce the human figure from the draft to the final drawing.
The course includes two lessons of real life drawing, using specialized websites, during which the student will have the opportunity to apply the notions previously learned, guided by the lecturer.
– Block canson A3 white smooth or semi-rough paper;
– Drawing block for sketches;
– Pencil B, 2B, 6B;
– Eraser and kneaded eraser;
– Pencil sharpener.
Fabrizio des Dorides was born in Rome in 1987. He attended the Illustration and multimedia animation course at IED and the Comics course at the International School of Comics. He currently works on Dylan Dog for Sergio Bonelli Editore. He has collaborated with: Sergio Bonelli Editore (Dylan Dog, Orfani), Aurea Editoriale (John Doe, Lanciostory, Skorpio), Villain Comics, Editoriale Cosmo (Battaglia), Edizioni Starcomics.
