Director, screenwriter and videomaker, graduated with honors from the University of Padua in Communication in 2005. His thesis, focusing on the Coen brothers’ cinema, won the Fernaldo Di Giammatteo prize and was published by the Cadmo publishing house (“In Search of Meaning: Cinema and Philosophy in the Work of the Coen Brothers”).
Subsequently, he earned a degree in Directing at the Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome in 2008. He wrote and directed several short films that were selected and received awards at national and international film festivals. Among these were “Un giorno ideale” (in competition at the Turin Film Festival) and “L’uomo dei sogni” (Best Short at the Rome Independent Film Festival). During the same years, he also worked as a videomaker, creating numerous documentaries, video reports, and music videos.
In 2021, he wrote and directed his first feature film, “Ipersonnia” (Hypersleep), a dystopian thriller starring Stefano Accorsi, produced by Ascent Film and Nightswim in collaboration with Prime Video and Rai Cinema. The film was presented in the official selection at the 40th Turin Film Festival (2022).
