RITRATTO - FLAMINIA BULLA

Flaminia Bulla

Flaminia Bulla (Rome, 1989) grew up in the historic Litografia Bulla, founded in Paris in 1818 and active in Rome since 1840. She graduated in Contemporary Art History (La Sapienza, 2014) and in Visual Arts (Bologna, 2017), combining theoretical studies with hands-on lithographic practice in the workshop from an early stage.

Since 2018, she has been working steadily at the print studio with her sister Beatrice, with whom she curates exhibition projects and co-founded the independent publishing house O, dedicated to artist books and graphic experimentation.

Since 2019, she has been leading Litografia Bulla, collaborating with artists, galleries and institutions, and developing projects such as Finestra su strada, as well as residencies and exhibitions aimed at renewing traditional fine art printmaking techniques through contemporary languages.
