Mauro Bubbico

He was born in Montescaglioso (Matera), where he has lived and worked since 1986 as a graphic designer. He graduated from the set design course at the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence where he worked as a free-lance graphic designer and illustrator at agencies and graphic studios. Later he collaborated in Matera with Mario Cresci. From 1999 to 2006 he was a director of Aiap.He was a lecturer in the Graphic Design Laboratory at the Faculty of Architecture of the Polytechnic of Bari and since 2007 he has been a lecturer at the Isia in Urbino, where he teaches Graphic planning in Master of Arts in Graphic Systems for Publishing and Typography at the Master in Illustration. He prefers design aimed at environmental and social education. Over the years, his interests, research on places and its inhabitants have led him to the definition of an effective and contemporary graphic language, suitable for narrating and enhancing them to favor their human, economic and cultural development.
