On Monday 15th January at 4.00 pm the new edition of the Rometti Prize will be presented at RUFA Space.
The prestigious award, now in its fifth edition, intends to reward all projects that offer an original contribution to the ancient art of ceramics. The Manifattura Rometti has been producing artistic ceramics in Umbertide (PG) since 1927 and since the beginning of its activity has availed itself of the collaboration of young artists, as
Corrado Cagli, Dante Baldelli and Mario Di Giacomo, all students of the Roman Academy of Fine Arts. They had the opportunity to experiment with ceramics at the Rometti,
creating authentic masterpieces of the so-called applied art.
This opportunity today is granted to students thanks to this competition.
That of Monday 15 will be a valuable opportunity for the students to receive advice on how to best perform the work, directly from those who know the company Rometti and the art of ceramics better than anyone else:
Massimo Monini – Owner of Rometti
Jean Christophe Clair – Artistic Director of Rometti
