Salone Satellite 2019, the MADE IN RUFA design

The Design School of the Rome University of Fine Arts shows all its creative energy participating at the Salone del Mobile in Milan with the design projects proposed by the students.

Synergies between professors and students have given rise to many activities in RUFA, some of which are open to external collaboration, in order to facilitate market and profession-oriented conceptual input. The figure of the designer is more than ever central to respond to the complexities shown by the fourth industrial revolution that affects the contemporary scenario. For this reason, the academic path ranges from product to interior design.

The projects presented, which summarize the different souls of the various courses, have been realized with the help of professors Floriana Cannatelli, Paolo Parea, Ely Rozenberg, Giorgio Marcatili and Felice Patacca.

The artistic and design installations were created by Simone Cametti, Sasha Turchi, Gaia Rossi Merighi, Veronica Mascelluti, Beatrice Di Biagio, Natalia Koreneva, Eugenia Benassi, Carlo Angrisani, Alessandro Consigli, Francesco Di Martino, Andrea Di Santo, Elrayas Ghofran, Giacomo Branca, Viviana Mannino, Margherita Belli, Simone Soricelli, Ruggero Vidotto, Riccardo Ruggeri and Lorenzo Gordini.

The MADE IN RUFA project is a physical and conceptual open space projected into the future and aimed at excellence. The aim is to reveal to the general public the contemporary trend of the students of the Academy.

The Salone Satellite is located inside the Fiera Milano – Rho district, with direct access to Cargo 5, pavilion 22, stand S-15. The exhibition will be open from 9 to 14 April, from 9 to 19.
