A soul factory
A lab, a soul factory. That’s how we like to think about this space, placed in a former pasta factory called “Cerere”, in the city’s working class heart, that today is reborn as a factory of imagination and knowledge. A laboratory where the new labours of polytechnic – we borrow this expression from philosopher Jacques Rancière- that is to say the students, the artists and the cultural workers who gather around RUFA Fine Arts Academy, can go trough, test themselves and have confrontations. A space dedicated to the school where to go on with teaching in its several ways, but also a place open to the city, to breaths and rhythms from the territory.
The history of the twentieth century, as we know it, is also the story of the subtraction of time to work, the story of the escape from boredom and factories in favor of time of life.
Now that the short century is definitely behind us and we are committed to building a new world every day, we like to think this former factory as a place where to stay, with the pleasure of sharing altogether a bread made of art and thought. At last, a place dedicated to the unprecedented breakthrough in the world of unmatched visions.
