A call for 20 thousand € to promote Korean culture

The Korean Cultural Institute and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, in collaboration with other public and private bodies and institutions, have launched the competition “KOREA IN ROOM”, open to all those who want to represent Korea through a series of videos.

The winners will be funded by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea and the Korean Cultural Institute with a total prize fund of 20 thousand €, in order to realize their projects which will then be uploaded on the YouTube channel of the Korean Cultural Institute.

The line of implementation of the experience is clear: to present Korea at its best to the Italians, taking as an example the language, the writing system, the food, traditions, culture, art or lifestyle. Without forgetting sports activities, technology, Hanji (the traditional Korean paper), clothes, fashion or anything else that concerns Korea and the relationship between these elements and Italy.

There are no gender limits. The videos can be of entertainment, promotion, education, information. The project can be a short film, a mini-series, a documentary, a series of interviews, mini games, a tutorial, a vlog, a monologue, an animation or anything else that ingenuity may suggest.

For the first classified a fund from 7,500 €, 6,000 € for the second, 4,000 € for the third and 2,500 € for the fourth. All the info on
