RUFA and Confcooperative Lazio together to produce culture and ideas.
RUFA and Confcooperative Lazio have signed a memorandum of understanding to generate projects and collaborations designed to involve students enrolled in the Academy. The aim is to give shape and substance to multiple cultural initiatives, training activities and artistic events, such as talks, masterclasses, workshops, internships and special projects.
“The agreement with Confcooperative Lazio,” said RUFA Director arch. Fabio Mongelli – will make it possible to plan projects and activities in line with the objectives of the UN Agenda 2030. In this process, to be understood as a formative start-up, RUFA intends to involve companies, organisations and institutions that share this vision, especially with regard to the implementation of research projects”.
Confcooperative Lazio is the main organisation representing, assisting, protecting and supervising the Italian cooperative movement and social enterprises. It currently has 865 member cooperatives: it handles relations with institutions, assists its members on the trade union, legal, legislative, technical, organisational, financial and credit fronts, promotes the promotion of cooperatives, promotes the training of members and workers, and provides assistance for the creation of new cooperative enterprises.
“The RUFA/Confcooperative agreement stems from a broad sharing of objectives,” explains Barbara Pescatori, president of Confcooperative Culture, Tourism and Sport Lazio, “and focuses on training as a design, social, economic and employment lever. The choice of a partner such as the Rome University of Fine Arts,’ underlines Pescatori, ‘draws’ the future we are building, under the banner of an increasingly attentive look at young people and the quality of the activities we are involved in.
“The synergic action of RUFA and Confcooperative Lazio,” concludes Fabio Mongelli, “will allow us to observe new horizons and plan completely new learning paths. I thank President Marco Marcocci for having shared this idea of cooperation that brings together different worlds and approaches that can, from now on, dialogue and find common paths to follow together’.
