The exhibition will tell the three paths followed in the creation of advertising and informational posters: the release of a film, the communication of an event, and an awareness campaign to raise funds for people affected by wars.
The authors freely chose the film and the event to be narrated: they were asked to come up with a concept starting from a curiosity or peculiarity of the film, which was then included within the poster to facilitate understanding; the second request was to design a identity communication system, consistent with existing communication guidelines, that would find its representative expression in the poster.
A common fundraising text was adopted for the campaign to raise awareness on the issue of peace, which is particularly heartfelt in light of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and translate into images the feeling of rejection for all the wars still present in the world.
The design thread was to unite the natural expressive propensity for illustration and comics with the rules and requirements of visual communication and the tools of graphic design.
